2 BASTARD.
3 Now, by my life, this day grows wondrous hot;
4 Some airy devil hovers in the sky
5 And pours down mischief. Austria’s head lie there,
6 While Philip breathes.
7 Enter King John, Arthur and Hubert.
8 KING JOHN.
9 Hubert, keep this boy.—Philip, make up.
10 My mother is assailed in our tent,
11 And ta’en, I fear.
12 BASTARD.
13 My lord, I rescu’d her;
14 Her highness is in safety, fear you not.
