- 1 Titus Lartius, having set a guard upon Corioles, going with drum and
- 2 trumpet toward Cominius and Caius Martius, enters with a Lieutenant,
- 3 other Soldiers, and a Scout.
- 4 LARTIUS.
- 5 So, let the ports be guarded. Keep your duties
- 6 As I have set them down. If I do send, dispatch
- 7 Those centuries to our aid; the rest will serve
- 8 For a short holding. If we lose the field,
- 9 We cannot keep the town.
- 10 LIEUTENANT.
- 11 Fear not our care, sir.
- 12 LARTIUS.
- 13 Hence, and shut your gates upon’s.
- 14 Our guider, come. To th’ Roman camp conduct us.
- 15 [_Exeunt._]
