- 7 Balms and gums and heavy cheers,
- 8 Sacred vials filled with tears,
- 9 And clamours through the wild air flying._
- 10 _Come, all sad and solemn shows
- 11 That are quick-eyed Pleasure’s foes;
- 12 We convent naught else but woes.

- 15 This funeral path brings to your household’s grave.
- 16 Joy seize on you again; peace sleep with him.
- 17 SECOND QUEEN.
- 18 And this to yours.
- 19 FIRST QUEEN.
- 20 Yours this way. Heavens lend
- 21 A thousand differing ways to one sure end.
- 22 THIRD QUEEN.
- 23 This world’s a city full of straying streets,
- 24 And death’s the market-place where each one meets.
