  1. 1 Music. Enter the Queens with the hearses of their knights, in a funeral

  4. 4 _Urns and odours bring away;
  5. 5 Vapours, sighs, darken the day;
  6. 6 Our dole more deadly looks than dying;
  7. 7 Balms and gums and heavy cheers,
  8. 8 Sacred vials filled with tears,
  9. 9 And clamours through the wild air flying._
  10. 10 _Come, all sad and solemn shows
  11. 11 That are quick-eyed Pleasure’s foes;
  12. 12 We convent naught else but woes.
  13. 13 We convent naught else but woes._
  14. 14 THIRD QUEEN.
  15. 15 This funeral path brings to your household’s grave.
  16. 16 Joy seize on you again; peace sleep with him.
  17. 17 SECOND QUEEN.
  18. 18 And this to yours.
  19. 19 FIRST QUEEN.
  20. 20 Yours this way. Heavens lend
  21. 21 A thousand differing ways to one sure end.
  22. 22 THIRD QUEEN.
  23. 23 This world’s a city full of straying streets,
  24. 24 And death’s the market-place where each one meets.
